Fees
Sessions fees are increased every January in line with costs and living wage. Folly Farm Day Nursery reserve the right to review and amend sessions costs/ opening days and timings at any time. In all cases, at least one months’ notice of any changes will be given to all parents by the management team. Registration fees will not be refunded under any circumstance. If you require to change your sessions, Folly Farm Day Nursery require 8 weeks notice in writing from Parents/Carers.
Folly Farm Day Nursery is open Monday- Friday 8am-6m all year round. We close on Bank holidays and the week between Christmas and New year. If Christmas Eve falls on a working day, our doors will only be open 8am-12pm. You will not be charged for the afternoon session if this is your child’s normal nursery session. You will be emailed and notified of our last working day of the year and our opening day for the new year. Folly Farm Day Nursery may have to close for the day/ mid-way through a day for extreme weather. If this is the case you will be notified and refunded your child’s session rate. Folly Farm Day Nursery reserve the right to close for staff training at any time, however you will be given a months’ notice for this closure. Nursery fees will not be applied for this closure.
If you choose to go on holiday, or not bring your child in for their usual nursery day for any reason (including sickness), we ask for you to notify the nursery at your most earliest convenience via email to Follyfarm@hotmail.com. You will still be charged for your session at the usual day rate. If your child is sent home unwell, you will still be charged your usual day session rate. Swapping sessions for other days, or with other families are not permitted under any circumstance.
If your child attends nursery that falls on a bank holiday, you will not be charged for this session however you will not be able to add on another session for that week due to booked children and meeting legal ratio’s.
Funded sessions are increased every September. All parents/ carers will be emailed in advance of the price increases.
Payment of Account: Invoices will be issued monthly and are to be paid prior to the invoice date highlighted in red at the bottom of your invoice. All monthly fees need to be cleared by the latest on the second Friday of each month. Your invoice needs to be paid in FULL each month. We accept government 20% tax free child care, child care vouchers, BACS payments or cash. We DO NOT accept cheques.
If your payment is late an email will be sent to you to follow up your payment. If your invoices continually are not paid, you will be charged late payment fees and your child’s nursery space will be frozen until ALL payments are made.
Your child session prices depend only on their age (staff – child ratio dependant) not which rooms they are in (Baby Barn/ Orchard. Fees will decrease the week after your child’s birthday in relation to the fee structure. This is done automatically by the IT system. These prices and terms are not relevant to funded prices.
Folly Farm Day Nursery offers Nursery provision throughout the year only closing for Bank Holidays and between Christmas and the New Year. We are open Monday – Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm within our structure we can offer the following sessions (excluding funded priced sessions):
